The Xunta will co-produce the new dance show by Kirenia Martínez among others.

Santiago de Compostela, October 2, 2022. The Xunta of Galicia will support the new dance shows by Kirenia Martínez, Janet Novás, and Paula Quintas through three co-production contracts with the Galician Choreographic Center.

Kirenia Martínez's company will once again be a recipient of the Galician Choreographic Center's co-production program with Afectos, a performance that will conclude her Trilogy of the Vulnerables. This saga, initiated before the outbreak of COVID-19, offers a choreographic approach to migratory movements from a global perspective.

In Afectos, the company will focus on the changes caused by the pandemic regarding mass displacements of people, after the first installment, titled Y-migrantas, addressed the phenomenon in a context where the world was undergoing a paradigm shift, and the second, Primero la vida!, analyzed a new reality at the midpoint of the health crisis.
