"Afectos" will be presented in Folgoso do Courel within the framework of the European Meeting ABMS.

Kirenia Danza will present their new production "Afectos" in Folgoso do Courel on April 12th at 5:00 PM.

The CPI Uxío Novoneyra will be the venue hosting this presentation, as part of the program of the European Meeting ABMS in the Serra do Courel.

Admission will be free, and in order to attend, appointments must be requested through the websites antibullyingmovementseries.eu and kireniadanza.gal.

This piece, co-produced by the Centro Coreográfico Galego-AGADIC, is the final installment of the choreographic trilogy 'The Vulnerables', addressing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on migrants and their network of affections.

The company has demonstrated its commitment to this theme through previous deliveries 'E-migrantas' and 'First Life!', addressing the need for a change in the current model of crisis management.

The production 'Afectos'

'Afectos' invites the audience to reflect on the importance of solidarity in difficult times and pays homage to the complexity of human emotions.

It also focuses on the human heritage of migration, such as the Camino de Santiago in Galicia, the Kumano Kodo in Japan, the humanitarian corridors of Ukraine, and the new routes of Central American emigration, inviting connection with our own emotional being and recognizing the importance of protecting the fundamental rights of migrants and displaced persons.

The piece will be performed by a large artistic team, with actor and dancer Bal Castro from Courel standing out.

After the show, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the creation process with the cast, alongside international participants from Portugal, Hungary, Germany, and Serbia, who collaborate on this European project of inclusive stage education.
